Donaven's Field Trip

The day before his field trip I told him that I might not be able to go. That I didn't have anyone at the time to watch Isabella. He tried coming up with ways for his sister to be watched so I could go with him. I got Jessica to watch Isabella. I found out that we didn't have to be at the place till 9 so I had plenty of time. I didn't let him know yet, and that night he said his prayers and added "Jesus please help let momma be able to go on my field trip". I thought that was the sweetest thing ever!!! That next morning I told him that I was going to be able to go and I would meet him up at the Children's Museum. He was so excited!!! I took them to school, took Isabella to Jessica's and headed for the Children's Museum. (I thought I was lost at first) I made it there and got inside and he got a big smile when he spotted me and waved. He took me all over to all the stations to play. I figured he would have run off with one of his friends and play with them and nope he didn't. He stuck with me and said " come this way momma" ,"look at this momma", "see what I just did momma" I loved every bit of it!!!

Movie's and Super Bowl... What a great week

Dear John was great!!! I loved it!! When it came out Jessica brought her daughter over to watch Isabella, and Jessica and I went an watch it. We laughed, we cried, it was good. It was nice to finally get out of the house and go enjoy some time with a friend...

SUPER BOWL!!!!! We had Jessica and the girls over, and we grilled some chicken and sausage. Jessica brought a super bowl cake that was so good, and then we turned around and stuffed our faces with some snacks.. Needless to say we were no longer hungry. Our house was so noisy with all the hollering and the kids running around. We had so much fun!

Not much is happening this week.. Soccer practices have started back up, so we are freezing for now with being outside for practice. They have there 1st game this Saturday. I am excited about that, they are so fun to watch.

Cleaning day turn dryer mess

Monday I woke up feeling good. I got started on my laundry and I never stopped. I cleaned my floors, both bathrooms, vacuumed mine and Isabella's room. I even moved Isabella's furniture around. I got to my 4th load of laundry and was pulling it out of the dryer to find that all of our blue jeans were RED!! Oh my gosh, my son left a red crayon in his pants pocket.. ARGH. So while starting to cook supper I put the jeans back in the washing machine and dumped stain remover on top of all the jeans and washed on the setting, stain wash. My jeans started to wash and it went for 2 hours and 44 mins. While that was going I did get supper done and then spent the rest of my time with my head in the dryer spraying Clorox bleach and scrubbing. Let me just say that my arms were sore after that. But ya it work and the wash worked. We no longer have red jeans and a red dryer. Needless to say I did nothing on Tues. but take care of Isabella & read.

Busy couple of day's

Yesterday I had to go take Donaven to get a shot. The school nurse sent a note home saying he was missing a shot, and to get it as soon as possible. I got the note in Nov and called to schedule an appt. and the soonest they could get me in was 1-13. We finally got it done and my poor child is done until he is 11! I have gotten into the Twilight Saga and finished New Moon last night. It was great and definitely a page turner.
Today I went to Jessica's and she is letting me borrow Eclipse and Breaking Dawn.. THANK YOU JESSICA! I am super excited now.. I have been sucked in to the Twilight books. After leaving there I stopped at walmart to pick up a b-day present and then headed home. I got Isabella to sleep and then finished reading my Day 3 for the bible study I'm doing with Jennifer. I had a good talk with Jennifer and discussed our book. I seriously need to get busy on memorizing my memory verse. I am slacking! I went and got the boys after school and we went straight to Lunden's B-day party. They had a blast! They played basketball, made magnet monsters and decorated their cupcakes into monsters.
Now that I have the kids in bed I am going to see if my Grey's Anatomy is coming on yet (hopefully this is the week it does). If not I have a great book I will curl up and read.....

Here's a picture of the boys playing basketball:

Trying out blogging

I have decided to try blogging. I'm not sure how well I will do, but figured it will be another good way of updating family and friends. I figured I could talk about things we do & add cute pictures of the kids. I would also be sharing things that I enjoy like cooking, scrapbooking, reading, surfing the web and my TV shows/movies.
I'm hoping that whoever decides to follow me will find my thoughts and my hobbies interesting.
